Dr Christopher Hutchinson: MA MB BChir DCH DRCOG MRCGP
Dr Hutchinson trained at Queen's College, Oxford and Addenbrooke's Hospital, Cambridge, qualifying in 1980. He joined the Practice in 1985. His interests include diabetes, medicine for the elderly and travel medicine.
He is Medical Officer to The Great Hospital. In 2005-6 he was President of Norwich Medico-Chirurgical Society and is currently Honorary Secretary of The Norfolk and Norwich Benevolent Medical Society.
Dr Hitesh Patel: MB ChB MRCP(UK) DRCOG MRCGP
Dr Patel trained at Aberdeen University and qualified in 1984. He joined the practice in 1993 and has clinical interests in Gastroenterology and Rheumatology. He is a member of various committees including the Norfolk Drugs and Therapeutics Committee, Prescribing Lead for the Practice Based Commissioning Groups and a member of the Local Medical Committee.
He is the medical director of Norwich Practices Limited which operates the walk in services at TimberHill Health Centre in Norwich.
Dr Tania Morley: MB ChB MRCGP DRCOG DFFP
Dr Morley qualified in Liverpool in 1989. She joined the practice in 2000, and works part time.
Dr Morley’s particular interests are in Gynaecology and Family Planning and she is the lead in Mental Health for the practice.
Dr Jennifer Lomax: MBChB MRCGP DRCOG
Dr Lomax trained at Liverpool University and qualified in 1990.
She moved to Norfolk with her family in 2005 and joined the Castle Partnership in April 2013.
Her special clinical interests are Mental Health and Palliative Care and she currently works part time.
Dr Gillian Read: BM BS BMed Sci MRCGP DRCOG DFSRH
Dr. Read trained at Nottingham University and completed her GP training in 2010. She joined the practice in 2011 and works part time. She is also Programme Director for the Norwich GP Training Scheme and her clinical interests are Women's Health and Family Planning.
Dr John Efstratiou: MB ChB LRCP LRCS Dip Obs DTM&H DPH DHSM Dip Occ Med
Dr Efstratiou was a Partner in his own Practice in Norwich before joining us as a salaried doctor. He spent many years working in Africa before immigrating to the UK where he has been for the last 15 years. Medical interests include psychotherapy, psychiatry, surgery, minor surgery, occupational medicine, chronic fatigue, dermatology, sports medicine and obstetrics and gynaecology. Public and community health and tropical medicine are further interests.
On a leisure note, he enjoys travel, photography, art, classical music, wild life conservation and ornithology. Sporting interests include road running, mountain biking and rowing.
