Dr Michael Claridge: MA MB BChir DRCOG
Dr Claridge trained at Cambridge and the Middlesex Hospital, qualifying in 1978. He joined the practice in 1981 and is now Senior Partner.

Dr Claridge’s special interests in medicine are in Ophthalmology, Diabetes and Drug Abuse.

 

Dr Richard Gilbert: MA PhD MB BChir DCH DRCOG MRCGP
Dr Gilbert qualified in Medicine from Cambridge in 1983 having previously studied Pharmacology and done a research degree. He did his GP training in Norwich and joined the practice in 1988.

His particular clinical interest is in respiratory medicine. He worked for eleven years in the chest clinic at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital and for four years as a GP with special interest in Respiratory Medicine for NHS Norfolk seeing patients with Asthma and COPD at Norwich Community Hospital.

Outside medicine Dr Gilbert’s interests include walking, sailing and bird-watching.

 

Dr Margaret McCartney: Hon Senior Lecturer MB BCh BAO DRCOG MRCGP PG DipMedEd
Dr McCartney qualified in Belfast and joined the practice in 1996. She now works part time.

Dr McCartney in Honorary Senior Lecturer at the UEA where she is involved in the teaching of Medical Students . She is also involved in teaching Nurses and Health Care Assistants in the General Practice Setting.

 

Jo Walsh Bsc (Med Sci) MBChB MSc DFFP

Dr Walsh qualified from Manchester in 1992, after preclinical training in St Andrews. She works part time. She is involved in the teaching of undergraduate medical students at UEA, working as both a PBL and consultation skills tutor.

She has an interest in allergy, particularly food allergy in children and has had a role in several national allergy projects, including the NICE guideline published in 2011. 

 

Dr Trupti Raje: MBBS, MRCGP, DRCOG

Dr Raje did her medical training from India and completed her GP training in Norwich in 2011. She joined the practice in 2012 and works part time. 

Her clinical interests are women's health and family planning.
