Castle PartnershipWe have been alerted to a national supply chain issue affecting the availability of certain supplies and consumables used in general practice.
While we try our best to manage demand and stock, on this occasion, the national availability of needle sticks may impact our ability to run phlebotomy clinics. This could mean that we will need to cancel appointments and/or clinics depending on the developing situation.
This issue is not just isolated to our Partnership and is unfortunately also impacting on other healthcare providers nationally. We will look to prioritise patients for blood taking based on clinical need and we thank you for your patience and understanding on this matter.
We will continue to monitor and manage the situation to the best of our ability.
